2024 has been a great year for WWE, the company has seen a boom period despite undergoing major changes. With TKO now owning the company and Paul “Triple H” Levesque now heading the full creative side. 2024 has seen some stars break through, while some have established themselves as the key faces of the company.
It has also seen the rise of the next era of WWE superstars in 2024 who have experienced one of the best years in their entire tenure. While some clinched groundbreaking feats and created memorable moments and matches, others ascended to the next level of the WWE food chain and made a huge impact.
As the new calendar widely approaches with potential new opportunities for the entire locker room, here are the top 10 WWE Wrestlers of the year 2024:
Roxanne Perez (Honourable Mention)
Roxanne Perez made a huge impact in the early months of 2024 by winning her second NXT Women’s Championship. Since then, The Prodigy has put down every opponent put in front of her in the ring and is looking to close out 2024, still as the dominant champion.
‘The Prodigy’ is also currently the longest-reigning champion in WWE.
10. Bayley
The Role Model, Bayley, had an incredible year after a long time, opening it by winning the 2024 Royal Rumble match. This led to her triumph at WrestleMania 40, defeating IYO Sky to win the WWE Women’s Championship. Bayley went on to hold the title till the summer, having a spectacular reign and is still a regular presence on WWE television programming.
9. Bron Breakker
Bron Breakker burst on the main roster following his successful tenure in WWE NXT in 2024. As soon as he arrived on RAW, Breakker displayed dominance and carnage in multiple matches. His in-ring style and hunger led him to win the WWE Intercontinental title twice, which he is currently holding after defeating Jey Uso on RAW a few weeks ago.
Breakker has had great matches with Sami Zayn, Sheamus and many others in 2024. He is a future WWE world champion for sure.
8. Solo Sikoa
Solo Sikoa broke away from being Roman Reigns’ Enforcer to emerging as his heated rival and the self-proclaimed new Tribal Chief. Sikoa led his new Bloodline in 2024, establishing a path of carnage and also pinned Reigns’ shoulders to the mat at WWE Crown Jewel, thereby becoming a notable fixture on Friday Night SmackDown.

7. Seth Rollins
The year 2024 saw Seth Rollins walking in as the World Heavyweight Champion and finally main-eventing WrestleMania 40 Night 1 against Roman Reigns and The Rock. Following his title loss, Rollins took extended breaks but managed to deliver classic feuds with Drew McIntyre, Damien Priest and most recently, Bronson Reed.
‘The Visionary’ has missed a couple of months due to injury setbacks, but has still had a great year overall, pushing many superstars and helping Cody Rhodes ‘finish his story’.
6. Jey Uso
2024 was a classic display and establishment of the YEET movement, with Jey Uso at the forefront. Following multiple high-stakes matches and leading the merchandise sales, Jey achieved the ultimate dream of winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship, his first singles title in 14 years, thereby having one of the best years of his WWE career.
5. Nia Jax
Nia Jax’s return to WWE this year proved to be an excellent beginning for her second tenure. Using her raw power and in-ring dominance, she earned the throne of WWE Queen of the Ring. This was followed by her triumph over Bayley at SummerSlam, where she won the WWE Women’s title and has continued to dominate all opponents put in front of her throughout the year.
4. Liv Morgan
The Liv Morgan Revenge Tour was perhaps the talk of the town on Monday Night RAW throughout the year 2024. It saw the meteoric rise of Liv Morgan, proving to be one of her best years, winning the Women’s World Championship and being involved in one of the hottest storylines of the year with Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley. Morgan also made history at WWE Crown Jewel PLE by defeating Nia Jax to become the inaugural WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Champion.

3. Drew McIntyre
After being lost in the shuffle for some years, Drew McIntyre harassed the power of social media and his high-profile feud with CM Punk to elevate his career like never before in 2024. Moreover, McIntyre also won a World Championship in front of a huge crowd, a Money in the Bank contract and was featured in several high-profile matches and segments.
McIntyre’s rivalry with CM Punk has been labelled as the “feud of the year” by many fans and pundits.
2. Gunther
Gunther set the record for the longest-reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion in 2024. After his reign ended, The Ring General bounced back and elevated himself to main event status. Gunther defeated Randy Orton to become King of the Ring and went on to defeat Damian Priest at SummerSlam to win his first-ever World Heavyweight Championship, establishing himself as a top-tier fixture for WWE.
1. Cody Rhodes
The year 2024 undoubtedly belongs to Cody Rhodes, who scratched and clawed his way to winning his first-ever World Championship at WrestleMania 40 and managed to ‘Finish The Story.’ After reaching the top of the mountain, Rhodes proved himself to be a fighting champion for the entire year, putting down top opponents like AJ Styles, Solo Sikoa and Gunther while also becoming the first-ever WWE Men’s Crown Jewel Champion.
“The American Nightmare” has fulfilled his destiny and captured the WWE title and his run since his WWE return has seen him being labelled as the ‘quarterback’. Rhodes remains the top babyface of the pro-wrestling industry heading into the road to WrestleMania 41.
