WrestleMania 42 is set to be presented by the global juggernaut of wrestling, WWE, in the city of Las Vegas. The two-night grand spectacle will take place on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium. Furthermore, WWE has announced major in-ring showdowns for both nights.
However, those matches could create significant moments with shocking betrayals, and here are the five WWE names who could get their hands dirty at The Show of Shows this year.
5. Roxanne Perez sides with Finn Balor
The Judgment Day sided with Dominik Mysterio and ousted Finn Balor from the group. He will bring his alter-ego, The Demon, in his fight against Mysterio at WrestleMania 42.
While Dirty Dom might have other Judgment Day allies by his side, a shocking turn could see Roxanne Perez betray them and join the same man who brought her into the faction, i.e., Finn Balor.

4. Liv Morgan betrays Dominik Mysterio
The WWE Universe saw a glimpse of Liv Morgan betraying Dominik Mysterio upon her return at WWE Survivor Series 2025, only for Morgan to reveal that it was a ruse.
However, Morgan could decide to go solo and create a shocker at Night 2 of WrestleMania 42 by betraying her Daddy Dom, which could be one of the biggest shockers in the show’s history.
3. Jade Cargill’s allies leave her side
The road to WrestleMania 42 saw Jade Cargill’s former foes, Michin and B-Fab, become her allies in her feud with Rhea Ripley. However, a major double turn could see them turn the tables on Cargill and betray her to side with Mami instead to create a huge, shocking moment at the show.
2. Pat McAfee joins Cody Rhodes
When Pat McAfee returned to WWE and sided with Randy Orton, fans expressed their displeasure with WWE’s booking. However, they could pull off a major move by turning Cody Rhodes‘ heel and having McAfee betray Orton, which could leave the fans stunned in the main event of WrestleMania 42 Night 1.

While The Usos stood by Roman Reigns during his rivalry with CM Punk on the road to WrestleMania 42, they probably might not have forgotten The OTC’s treatment of them over the years.
In a shocking turn of events, The Usos could betray Reigns at an important moment and assist Punk retain his World title in the main event of Night 2 of the show.
