The EST of WWE has been out of action since 2025.

‘The EST of WWE’ Bianca Belair has been significantly absent from WWE programming since WrestleMania 41. Belair sustained a broken knuckle during the triple-threat match involving Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 41.

Except for a few sporadic appearances, Belair has mostly been absent from WWE programming. Her last appearance on WWE television came in July, when she served as the special guest referee in the no-holds-barred match between Jade Cargill and Naomi at Evolution 2.

Since then, Belair has not made any appearance on WWE television, with fans and pundits expecting her return at this year’s Royal Rumble. In fact, she was a heavy betting favorite to even win the match and punch her ticket to Mania.

Bianca Belair’s involvement is expected at WrestleMania 42

According to Ibou of Self Made, WWE is anticipating Bianca Belair to play a role at WrestleMania 42, though the outlet was unable to confirm whether she will actually return or compete.

“In speaking with WWE sources, what was relayed to me is that Bianca Belair is expected to be on the WrestleMania show, the report stated.

Whether that’s in a wrestling capacity or making a return on the show itself was something they declined to comment on.”

In addition, Bodyslam echoed the report and noted that Belair’s rehab has been difficult, with several setbacks. They also reported that WWE currently has her listed internally with a status indicating no set return date.

“A source indicated… that Belair is currently on a list internally with a tag that has no return date designated,

Another source indicated… that the rehab and recovery process for Belair has been rough and they have never seen anything like it. There have been a lot of complications, but Belair is said to have kept a positive mindset throughout this entire ordeal.”

In regard to potential opponents for Belair at the PLE, the speculation is for a showdown with the current WWE Women’s Champion, Jade Cargill. The story between the two, also involving Naomi, was put on the shelf due to Belair’s absence.

Notably, Jade is currently set to defend the title for the first time against Jordynne Grace on this week’s SmackDown. Even if Jade retains, Belair would have to return in time and qualify for the women’s Elimination Chamber match and then win the match to punch her ticket to Mania.

A showdown between the two deserves a spot at the ‘Grandest Stage.’ However, with just two weeks for the Elimination Chamber 2026, this seems unlikely. Without a win in the Chamber match, it would be difficult to justify a booking between the two if the title is on the line.

Is Bianca Belair returning before WrestleMania 42?

Per SelfMade, WWE is anticipating Bianca Belair to play a role at WrestleMania 42, though the outlet was unable to confirm whether she will actually return or compete.

When and where will WrestleMania 42 take place?

The 42nd edition of WrestleMania will take place as a two-night event on Saturday, April 18 and 19, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
