Blake Monroe to feud with Tiffany Stratton upon her SmackDown debut? Latest report reveals WWE plans

WWE has been teasing Blake Monroe’s main roster debut since last month.
During the WWE WrestleMania 42 fallout show of SmackDown, a teaser aired hyping up fans for Blake Monroe’s main-roster debut. While Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) and Ricky Saints made their debut, Monroe’s debut is still being teased with no confirmed date.
Regarding her arrival on the Blue brand, PWInsider has reported that Monroe will make her debut on SmackDown by the end of May.
“Since we’ve been asked about her quite a bit, the expectation is that Blake Monroe would start appearing on Smackdown by the end of the month, but that’s subject to change obviously.”

Blake Monroe is expected to partake in the mid-card title scene
The news of her debut has sparked massive speculations among fans who, as noted by Insider, have been asking about her debut as well as the plans upon her arrival on the Blue Brand.
Cory Hays now reports that Monroe will “pop up in the mid-card title scene” upon her main roster debut on SmackDown. This likely means a storyline with the current mid-card title holder, i.e., the Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton.
It goes without saying how similar Monroe and Stratton’s personas are; this has led many fans to call for a program between the two since WWE has teased Monroe’s SmackDown debut.
The glamour-focused presentation of both stars could give fans a fresh storyline, and given their strong mic skills, SmackDown programming would only get better.
Furthermore, Monroe and Stratton will also help the Women’s United States title, which has largely been neglected by WWE and has been an afterthought.
Similar to how Becky Lynch made the Women’s Intercontinental title legitimate, pushing for the title, which has now been featured in multiple PLEs, including Wrestlemania.
On the other hand, the Women’s US title, since its inception in December 2024, has not been defended on any PLE and has only been featured at SNME. Furthermore, stars like Monroe will also help in making the SmackDown a better product, giving WWE options to not just shuffle between a few superstars again and again.
