‘The Almighty’ Bobby Lashley is one of the powerhouses in WWE!

Bobby Lashley is one of the most powerful and dominant professional wrestlers, with a giant muscle frame. Lashley has been in the pro wrestling industry since 2005 and is known for his time in WWE and beyond. Lashley has two different runs in WWE, from 2005 to 2008 and from 2018 to the present.

Lashley is a nine-time champion in WWE including two world championships. Lashley has been a part of many best matches in the company and here we take a look at the top five best matches of Bobby Lashley in his WWE career.

5. Battle of Billionaires (WrestleMania 23)

At WrestleMania 23, Donald Trump’s representative Bobby Lashley and Vince McMahon’s representative Umaga fought in a singles match, which is billed as the Battle of Billionaires. Stone Cold Steve Austin was the referee of the match and the losing billionaire’s head will be shaved. Lashley & Trump were the babyfaces and Vince McMahon & Umaga were the heels. Vince tried to use cheap tricks to win the match, by making Shane McMahon the special guest referee, when Austin was knocked out.

However, Trump attacked McMahon and Austin pulled Shane out. Umaga tried for a Samoan Spike on Austin, but Stone Cold countered with a stunner, giving Lashley the opening to spear Umaga and pick up the win. Vince tried to escape from being shaved, but Austin, Lashley & Trump took him to the ring and shaved him bald.

4. Austin Theory vs Bobby Lashley vs Seth Rollins (Survivor Series 2022)

At the Survivor Series 2022 pay-per-view, Bobby Lashley fought Seth “Freakin” Rollins & Austin Theory in a Triple Threat Match for the United States Championship. All three men showcased a great fight with many near falls after executing the signature and finishing maneuvers on each other.

In the final moments of the match, Seth Rollins delivered a Falcon Arrow on Theory and Lashley speared Rollins. Theory fell on Rollins for a pin and won the United States Championship for the second time. Although Lashley lost the match, it was one of his best performances.

3. Roman Reigns vs Big E vs Bobby Lashley (WWE Raw)

On the September 20, 2021, episode of Monday Night Raw, Bobby Lashley faced Roman Reigns & Big E in a Triple Threat non-title match. The match went extreme as all three powerhouses collided in the middle of the ring. All three attempted their signature and finishing maneuvers on each other, going for a near fall and one breaking another’s fall.

In the final moments of the match, Big E delivered a big ending to Roman Reigns and tried for a fall. However, Lashley attacked Big E with a steel chair and punished him brutally. However, Roman used the right time to spear Lashley and pick up the win. The match was critically applauded as one of the best matches in Raw that year.

2. Bobby Lashley vs John Cena (Great American Bash 2007)

At the Great American Bash 2007 pay-per-view, Bobby Lashley challenged John Cena for the WWE Championship. This is probably the first championship main event match of Lashley in WWE (excluding ECW). Lashley overpowered Cena with a series of power slams.

However, Cena applied STF and then with an FU for a near fall. Lashley hit Cena with a spear for a near fall and the match swung in both the corners, but both started to drain energy. In the final moments, Cena delivered a Super FU from the top of the rope and pinned Lashley to win the match.

1. Bobby Lashley vs Drew McIntyre (Hell in a Cell 2021)

At the 2021 Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, Lashley defended his WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match at the main event of the show. This is one of the hard-fighting matches for both McIntyre & Lashley. During the match, the referee got knocked out and McIntyre called the outside referee to count the fall.

However, MVP entered the ring and made it a kind of two-on-one handicap match. McIntyre took MVP down and came to handle business, however, Lashley rolled McIntyre to win the match. As per the stipulation, McIntyre can’t challenge Lashley for the WWE title.
