Four bookings decisions that could make WWE Survivor Series 2025 memorable for fans

These decisions could help turn the PLE into a truly memorable event for fans.

WWE is heading towards San Diego, California, for its final Premium Live Event of 2025, Survivor Series. The annual PLE will take place under the WarGames banner once again and will feature the marquee men’s and women’s WarGames match.

The event is set for November 29, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, California, and will feature multiple big names from the Raw and SmackDown. However, multiple stars who are off television due to different reasons might miss the final PLE of the year.

As Survivor Series inches closer, let us take a look at four booking decisions that could make the final main roster PLE memorable for WWE fans.

4. Women’s US title match

The lack of stars on the Blue brand isn’t only hurting the WWE Women’s title, but also the Women’s United States title, which Giulia currently holds. The Women’s US title has never been featured on a PLE since the inaugural Champion, Chelsea Green, was crowned last year at SNME.

Since Green’s title reign, the title has barely been featured on regular programming, and despite multiple champions, it has continued to feel like an afterthought for WWE. The promotion should feature the Women’s U.S. Title on the final PLE of 2025, giving the championship a much-needed spotlight and a chance to regain its prestige heading into the new year.

3. Stephanie Vaquer vs Roxanne Perez

With the absence of big names such as Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley, and Iyo Sky, ahead of Survivor Series, WWE has currently booked Roxanne Perez in a storyline against Stephanie Vaquer. The storyline also involves Raquel Rodriguez and Nikki Bella, respectively.

However, booking a title clash between Vaquer and Perez at the final PLE would be a great addition to the card. Both stars have history from their days in NXT and are some of the best in-ring talents among the new generation. A spotlight at the show will only help further increase their name value in front of fans.

2. Women’s IC title

After two back-to-back, albeit unconventional wins against the reigning Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Becky Lynch, Maxine Dupri has earned a title shot against the Champion. GM Adam Pearce is ready to give Dupri the chance to battle Lynch for the title.

However, Dupri has requested some additional time to ensure she’s fully prepared before accepting the match. Her two bouts with Becky have already skyrocketed her stardom, and a title clash against one of the best at the upcoming PLE would further cement her status as one of WWE’s fastest-rising stars.

1. John Cena captures the IC title

John Cena is set to hang up his wrestling boots at the end of 2025 and currently has only four appearances left, with the Survivor Series being his final WWE PLE appearance. Cena is reportedly set to take on Dominik Mysterio with the Intercontinental title on the line.

This might be the perfect opportunity not just for Cena to claim the IC title and become the Grand Slam Champion, but also for WWE, which could make the PLE memorable for such a milestone in Cena’s legendary career. Additionally, it would also be one of the best send-offs for the G.O.A.T. of pro wrestling.
