Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar in the opening match of Night 2.

Night 2 of WWE WrestleMania 42 kicked off with John Cena opening the show, before Oba Femi made his entrance to kick off the show in a battle of giants against ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar.

While the match was short, both men showcased devastating power, wreaking havoc. The chaotic showdown saw Lesnar even take Femi to Suplex City, before hitting an F5. However, Femi got right up and fought back with a chokeslam, followed by a fall from grace to pin Lesnar and win in his WrestleMania debut.

After the loss, Brock sat up in the ring and removed his gloves as the fans watched in shock and witnessed a vulnerable moment for the Beast, who broke down in tears. Lesnar then removed his boots as Paul Heyman stepped into the ring.

The two lifelong friends embraced in a rare emotional moment as it finally sank in for fans that the Beast Incarnate had retired. “Thank you, Brock,” chants filled the arena, and Lesnar acknowledged the crowd, even greeting them on his way to the back as fans showered him with cheers, giving the veteran the respect he has earned with decades of work not just in pro-wrestling but in MMA and NCAA.

It remains to be seen whether Brock says a final goodbye to the WWE Universe like AJ Styles or quietly steps away as he often has in the past. Either way, Khel Now pays tribute to a legendary career and the lasting impact he leaves behind.
