Wrestlepalooza 2025 delivers one of the most electrifying nights in recent WWE memory, and it comes with a potential blockbuster feud waiting on the horizon.

John Cena, in the midst of his Farewell Tour, goes head-to-head with the returning Brock Lesnar in the opening match of the night. The clash is brutal, decisive, and filled with everything fans expect from two legends who have battled across multiple eras.

The Beast makes his return alongside longtime advocate Paul Heyman, punishing Cena with multiple F5s before pinning him clean in the centre of the ring. With Cena’s legendary career winding down, the spotlight now shifts to Lesnar and the man who may be next in line to challenge him: Logan Paul.

Logan Paul takes aim at Brock Lesnar

Logan Paul did not stay silent in the build-up to Wrestlepalooza. The Maverick openly backs Cena, despite losing to him just last month at Clash in Paris. Paul takes to social media to voice his support for the 17-time world champion and, in doing so, lights a fuse that could ignite his own future feud.

He reacts to a viral SmackDown moment when Lesnar destroys a Prime Hydration Station, one of Paul’s flagship sponsorship brands. Outraged, Paul calls out the Beast directly:

“What the hell did Prime ever do to you other than pay your bills? John Cena vs Brock Lesnar tonight is absolutely crazy, but I’m rooting for John because Brock, you’re a disrespectful oversized sasquatch, and you shouldn’t have come back to WWE. There I said it.”

His words stir speculation. Paul might not be booked at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, but he is now firmly in the conversation as Lesnar’s possible next rival.

The Road From John Cena to Logan Paul?

Lesnar’s motivations since returning at SummerSlam are crystal clear, he wants to retire Cena on his terms. He has attacked the WWE legend repeatedly, determined to ensure Cena does not finish his farewell tour peacefully. But now that he has defeated Cena at WrestlePalooza, his next chapter may lie in a fresh rivalry with Paul.

The U.S. Champion-turned-viral megastar has already gone toe-to-toe with Reigns, Rollins, and Cena. He has earned respect across the locker room and even received high praise from legends like JBL and Sgt. Slaughter, who once said Paul could be “the next John Cena.” Yet there’s one opponent he has not faced, Brock Lesnar.

The Beast himself once commented on Logan’s career during the YouTuber’s early WWE run.

Back in 2022, Lesnar told the New York Post: “Great for YouTube. I’m happy for those guys. They built their name up. Can Logan become a professional wrestler? Maybe, if he puts as much ambition into that.”

Fast forward to 2025, and Paul has indeed become a staple in WWE. With his words against Lesnar now out in the open, the pieces fall neatly into place. If WWE pulls the trigger, Logan Paul vs Brock Lesnar could headline a Premium Live Event later this year.
