Bron Breakker is the nephew of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner
Bronson Rechsteiner, better known to WWE fans as Bron Breakker, has quickly established himself as one of the most dominant and promising talents in WWE today. The son of Rick Steiner and nephew of Scott Steiner, Breakker’s wrestling pedigree is unquestionable, and he has already made a significant impact in WWE since his debut.
A former professional football player, Breakker has seamlessly transitioned to the wrestling ring, earning accolades and championships along the way. His impressive in-ring abilities and natural charisma have made him a standout performer, leading to multiple title reigns in WWE’s NXT and beyond. This article takes a closer look at all of Bron Breakker’s championship reigns in WWE.
Here are Bron Breakker’s all-WWE title reigns:
WWE NXT Championship – 2 time
Bron Breakker’s path to his first NXT Championship began with an explosive debut on the September 14, 2021 episode of NXT, in which he beat LA Knight. Following numerous high-profile battles and a great run with Team 2.0 at WarGames, Breakker set his sights on Tommaso Ciampa’s NXT Championship.
On January 4, 2022, Breakker defeated Ciampa by submission to capture the NXT Championship, his first championship win in WWE. His reign demonstrated his superiority, with strong defenses against famous rivals such as Santos Escobar on Vengeance Day. Breakker’s first reign ended on March 8, 2022, when Dolph Ziggler pinned Ciampa in a triple-threat match at NXT: Roadblock, bringing his reign to a stop after 63 days.
Breakker did not go without gold for long. On the April 4, 2022 episode of Raw, he beat Dolph Ziggler to win the NXT Championship, commencing his second reign. Breakker’s second reign as champion was even more spectacular, with several high-stakes defenses.
He defended his NXT championship against Gunther and later feuded with Joe Gacy, defeating him at Spring Breakin’ and In Your House. Breakker extended his dominant streak by defeating Cameron Grimes, JD McDonagh, and Apollo Crews, among others.
His reign came to an end with a title defense against Carmelo Hayes at Stand & Deliver on April 1, 2023, in which he lost the championship after 362 days of reigning. Breakker’s second reign cemented his position as a top star.
NXT Tag Team Championship – 1 time
Bron Breakker’s prowess in a singles competition carried over smoothly into the tag team division when he teamed up with Baron Corbin. In January 2024, Breakker and Corbin competed in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic as The Wolf Dogs.
The duo demonstrated great chemistry and expertise by defeating Gallus in the first round and Axiom and Nathan Frazer in the semi-finals. Their momentum continued as they defeated Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams in the finals of NXT Vengeance Day, earning their win in the tournament.
This victory earned them a chance at the NXT Tag Team Championship, which they won on the February 13, 2024 edition of NXT by defeating The D’Angelo Family. The Wolf Dogs retained the belts for 57 days, successfully defending them against teams like as Chase U, Axiom, and Nathan Frazer, until losing them again to Frazer and Axiom on the April 9 episode of NXT.
