The new IC champion is going to be a huge WWE star in future
Paul Heyman has nurtured the careers of numerous major WWE talents; does Bron Breakker aspire to be the next one?
Throughout his famous career, which has earned him a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame, Paul Heyman has worked with some of the most well-known figures in wrestling history. Heyman was one of The Undertaker’s initial managers when he was known as “Mean” Mark, and during his tenure, he also handled Steve Austin, Arn Anderson, and Rick Rude.
In WWE, Heyman has worked as a manager/advocate for Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, and, most recently, “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns. Over the previous two decades, Heyman has appeared as the main event at multiple WrestleManias and other significant WWE events.
Bron Breakker defeated Sami Zayn to win the IC Championship at WWE SummerSlam 2024
Bron Breakker, a former two-time WWE NXT Champion, won the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam on Saturday in Cleveland. It was Breakker’s first championship triumph on the main roster.
Could Bron Breakker become a Paul Heyman guy in the future? The Intercontinental Champion seemed to appreciate the concept, as he casually informed WrestlingNews.com. “I think I would love that. I think Paul would love that. We’ll just have to see. One day.”
Roman Reigns didn’t return with Paul Heyman at WWE SummerSlam 2024
Perhaps the most significant news at SummerSlam was the return of Roman Reigns, who appeared on television for the first time in four months since WrestleMania 40. Reigns hammered the “new” Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa with a Superman Punch and Spear, eliciting shouts from the crowd.
While Reigns returned, he did so without Paul Heyman, who was eliminated by Solo’s version of The Bloodline on the June 28th episode of Smackdown. Heyman is anticipated to return to television with Reigns shortly.
