The second-generation professional wrestler began his career in 2020!

Bron Breakker kicked off his pro wrestling career in 2020 after a lengthy (American) football career and shortly made his debut in WWE. Breakker is a second-generation professional wrestler, he is the son of Rick Steiner and the nephew of Scott Steiner.

Breakker began his WWE career like many newcomers nowadays in the developmental brand NXT and made his in-ring debut in the promotion on September 14, 2021. He slowly found his footing and at NXT New Year’s Evil 2022, Breakker defeated Tommaso Ciampa by submission to win the NXT Championship.

This was not just his first WWE title but the first title of his pro wrestling career, however, his first title reign only lasted 63 days as Dolph Ziggler emerged victorious in a triple threat match involving Bron and Ciampa at NXT Roadblock 2022.

Breakker bounced back and defeated Ziggler on the March 04, 2022 episode of Monday Night Raw to reclaim the NXT Championship and went on to defend it successfully thirteen times, ultimately dropping it against Carmelo Hayes ending his reign at 362 days.

Breakker also captured the WWE NXT Tag Team Champion with Baron Corbin as The Wolfdogs one time. After losing the tag titles, Bron was promoted to the main roster, where Breakker defeated Sami Zayn in a rematch to capture the Intercontinental Championship.

The first IC title reign came to an end at 51 days when he was defeated by Jey Uso, a loss which he took back and reclaimed the title to kick off his second title reign in October. Breakker’s second title currently is at 174 days and he is now set to defend it at the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’.

Bron Breakker most recently defended the IC title in a fatal-four-way match at the 41st edition of WrestleMania 41 PLE on April 20. Let us now take a look at the WrestleMania record of Breakker.

The Intercontinental title defense at WrestleMania 41 was the first appearance of Bron Breakker at the ‘Grandest Stage’, and it also provided a unique opportunity for the rising star to showcase his skills in front of fans.

Breakker has already impressed many fans with his dominant performances and his iconic and devastating spears, and a win in a fatal four-way match would only further his career in the promotion. However, Breakker failed to defend the title as Dominik Mysterio pinned Finn Balor to win the match and capture the IC title.
