‘The Aus-Zilla’ got injured during 2024 War Games match

Bronson Reed has gained significant momentum in recent months. However, a major injury sustained during Survivor Series 2024 will keep him out of action for the foreseeable future.

Bronson Reed is considered a a veteran coming from WWE NXT and NJPW. He has had a successful year till he got injured. It took him some time to find his rhythm in his second tenure with WWE, but since his summer attack on multi-time world champion Seth Rollins, the Australian has emerged as one of WWE Raw’s best heels.

That’s why it wasn’t surprising when The new Bloodline leader Solo Sikoa asked him to join his team for the 2024 Survivor Series: WarGames. During the contest, “Big” made a tremendous impression.

At one point, the huge athlete ascended to the top of the WarGames cage, intending to unleash a tremendous tsunami splash on OG Bloodline leader Roman Reigns. However, CM Punk made a late rescue to keep Reigns in the bout. Following the incident, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, head of creative, reported that Reed’s ankles were injured as a result of the attempted splash.

A fresh update has been released on the seriousness of Bronson Reed’s injuries and it looks likely that he will be out for a long amount of time.

When did Bronson Reed get injured?

During the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 match, Bronson Reed fractured his foot. He sustained the injury when attempting a Tsunami from the top of the cage through a table, which could end in him missing WWE WrestleMania 41.

WWE declared that Bronson Reed will be off our screens indefinitely, prompting Drew McIntyre to return quickly. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio emphasized the seriousness of Reed’s injuries, stating that the Australian star will be gone for a “long time.”

Meltzer stated: “I asked somebody there, and they said that he’s [Reed] not expected back for WrestleMania; it’s expected to be a long time.”

It’s sad for Reed, since he’s been performing some of his greatest work to date as part of the Bloodline storyline, including vicious beatings of Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman.

He would have anticipated to appear at WWE WrestleMania 41, especially after missing out on last year’s event.

Hopefully, he will recover quickly, as Triple H is clearly a huge admirer of his work. Reed will most certainly have a successful year in 2025, given how he was scheduled this year and his status as The New Bloodline’s fifth man for the Men’s WarGames bout, with a continuous push and potential championship triumphs in the future.
