AEW star and Rhea Ripley’s better half Buddy Matthews recently took to his Instagram to reach to Ripley’s look at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.
The 2024 edition of Survivor Series: WarGames took place on November 30 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It was the third WarGames event in the promotion’s history.
The PLE featured two WarGames matches in both men’s and women’s divisions. Apart from the two WarGames clashes the event featured three title matches. Gunther and Bron Breakker defended their title successfully at the PLE while Shinsuke Nakamura defeated LA Knight to win his third US title.
‘Mami’ Rhea Ripley along with Bayley, Bianca Belair, Iyo Sky, & Naomi took on the team of Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez & Candice Larae. Ripley brutalized Morgan to pick up the win for her team in the first match of the PLE.
Rhea Ripley paid tribute to her husband at Survivor Series
Mami paid tribute to her husband as she copied his look for the WarGames clash at the Rogers Arena. The AEW star reacted to Ripley’s look via his Instagram handle.
Matthews posted a collage of himself and Ripley in the same attire after the Survivor Series PLE. He even asked the fans in the caption to name the tag team. “Name the Tag Team…” Matthews posted.
Ripley and Matthew tied the knot in June 2024, following their ten-month engagement in August 2023. The two stars were on the same WWE roster at one time in their careers.
The Stamford-based promotion dropped the Matthews in 2021, and he later signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in 2022. While Ripley became one of the biggest stars in the women’s division of the WWE.
