Carlito joined The Judgment Day after leaving LWO
‘Mini Razor’ Carlito returned to WWE after a two-year absence from in-ring action. Carlito made his return on May 6, 2023, at Backlash. He later returned to in-ring action and teamed up with the Latino World Order (LWO) On October 7 at Fastlane.
The Mini Razor later aligned himself with the Judgement Day after he was drafted to RAW in April 2024. However, due to his past conflict with Damian Priest, he was kept at a distance. Carlito was later accepted on the August 5 episode of RAW by Judgement Day following their fallout with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley.
Judgement Day has made some changes after kicking out Ripley and Priest. Recently WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan added Raquel Rodriguez as her enforcer to the group. It seems as though there are more changes on the way for the group.
Currently, Mini Razor is the only member of Judgement Day that is directionless at the moment. The group’s leader Finn Balor along with JD McDonagh are the current World Tag Team Champions. While Liv Morgan along with Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez are involved in a storyline with Rhea Ripley.
WWE is planning a single run for Carlito
As per recent reports from Wrestlevotes Backstage Pass Carlito might leave Judgement Day to focus on his singles career. The reports suggest that the WWE creative team has plans for Carlito to return to singles competition.
After the addition of Raquel Rodriguez to the faction the storyline has become a little ‘bloated’. Reports also suggest that the street trash type gimmick of Judgment Day isn’t entirely suitable for Carlito.
“So I think you’re going to see Carlito here in the next couple of weeks, sort of give the Judgment Day a reason to want to excommunicate him from the group. And I think he deserves a singles run.”
However, the reports do not hint at any specific timetable for the veteran wrestler’s singles run. “There’s no timetable. We haven’t heard much. I’d expect by the end of the year, maybe a singles run by Carlitos in the fold, but we do know that those plans have been discussed to separate him from the Judgment Day.”
A singles run for the veteran wrestler might give him a boost and direction as he currently is without any direction on Judgment Day. This opportunity might also be fruitful for the WWE and could lead to many possible storylines in the future.
