The American Made leader is absent from WWE programming due to injury!

American Made’s leader, Chad Gable, has been absent from WWE programming since June due to a shoulder injury, which forced him out of action. Gable left Ivy Nile in charge of the faction as since been away from programming.

However, Gable was recently in attendance at a Minnesota Twins baseball game on Sunday. During his appearance, Gable announced that he was dealing with a rotator cuff injury.

“I’m looking at the silver lining here. I have a little injury to my rotator cuff. But what it did do was buy me some time off the road to be home with my family and do stuff like this, go to a baseball game on a Sunday which I never get to do. So find the bright side, right?” Gable said.

Another slip-up?

In a conversation with Twins TV during the appearance, Chad Gable stated that he “wrestled his first singles match at WrestleMania back in April.” Gable’s comments about having a singles match at WrestleMania 41 raised many eyebrows among fans.

While Gable didn’t compete at WrestleMania 41, El Grande Americano did; this comment by Gable effectively confirmed that he was, in fact, the masked luchador. This acknowledgment breaks kayfabe, since Gable’s on-screen persona has always denied any association with El Grande Americano.

Many fans thought that Gable’s hiatus would also mean the absence of El Grande Americano, but that was not the case as Ivy Nile and the Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) shortly realized in a backstage segment.

The character has been taken over by Ludwig Kaiser (allegedly), who has taken it to another height, cutting promos in Spanish and signing Mexican folk songs. It will be interesting to see how the storyline progresses, especially when Gable returns.
