The speculations of WWE rumors are one of the most favorite pastimes for WWE fans around the globe. Fans love to engage in discussions and debates regarding many facets of the pro wrestling game.
While rumors are sometimes filled with ambiguity, they keep the excitement going as we strive to discern reality from fiction. In today’s edition of rumor roundup we look at some of the latest rumors that are being circulated among fans regarding Brock Lesnar’s return, the Michael Cole deal, WWE in Australia, and more.
WWE returns to Australia in 2025
In recent times there has been a drastic change in the way WWE presents international events. WWE has hosted several shows outside of its home country USA. This opportunity has given chances to many locations to host some of the biggest shows.
According to a report by The West Australian, WWE is discussing bringing another event in the land down under next year. The promotion first toured Australia in 1985 and recently hosted the Elimination Chamber 2024 PLE in Perth, Western Australia.
However, there is no clear decision as to when the promotion is going to the land down under. Perth’s Tourism Minister Rita Saffioti said that “We’re constantly pursuing these types of unique and exclusive events”. As of now, there is no word on how far along the discussions have gone.
Michael Cole signs a new deal
World Wrestling Entertainment is planning for its Streaming Debut on Netflix after a deal between the two companies. As per the deal, Monday Night RAW is set to move to Netflix starting January 2025. As the promotion gears up for its streaming debut, Veteran commentator Michael Cole has confirmed his involvement in the transition.
In a recent interview with Sal Licata of WFAN, Cole revealed that he has signed a new long-term contract with the promotion. “I still feel like I have a lot left in me. I just signed a long-term deal with the company, I’ll be doing this for a few more years. I’ll be back on Netflix doing Monday Night Raw in January.”
Charlotte Flair’s return
‘The Queen’ Charlotte Flair has been out of in-ring action since December 2023 against Asuka. She suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus during the match and has been out with an injury since then.
As per recent reports, The Queen will likely make her WWE return next year. Flair is expected to return at the grandest stage next year at WrestleMania 41. She will likely be involved in the top matches in the women’s division.
Brock Lesnar’s return
Although ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar was scheduled to return in this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble. However, those plans couldn’t proceed due to Brock’s rumored involvement in Vince McMahon’s sexual misconduct lawsuit.
Lesnar was recently mentioned during an episode of Monday Night Raw (10/14) which led to speculations among fans of his return. As per recent reports, the WWE is planning to bring back Lesnar. However, the timeline for his return is still not confirmed by the promotion.
