The Second City Saint kicked off the 03/03 episode of Raw

“The Second City Saint” CM Punk entered the 2025 men’s Elimination Chamber match with one goal in mind, to win and realise his dream of headlining WrestleMania. Punk was the final man alongside John Cena as they battled for the title opportunity at WrestleMania 41.

However, Seth Rollins, even after being eliminated, stayed in the Chamber and landed a vicious stomp on Punk at the right moment. This helped Cena who capitalized on the opportunity and locked in the STF to bag the win. After the win, Cena did the unthinkable and turned heel, joining The Rock’s side as he battered the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

“The Second City Saint” was visibly angry and rightfully so as he entered the arena to kick off the 03/03 episode of Monday Night Raw, which emanated from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. Punk went off both John Cena and The Rock in the opening segment and called out both stars for being a fraud.

Punk asked the crowd which one of his enemies he should address first. Pat McAfee suggested The Rock’s name, prompting Punk to go off on The Rock, calling him a fraud. The Second City Saint stated that, unlike The Rock, he didn’t wear a fake title. He then claimed that John Cena had stolen the match from him.

CM Punk went off on Cena, accusing him of selling the fans “bullsh*t” and asserted that he hadn’t given up on his dream of main eventing WrestleMania. Punk vowed to get his hands on both Cena and The Rock, before shifting his attention to Seth Rollins.

“I’m gonna get my hands on both of you, Bald Frauds!, and when I do, you’re gonna make a wish that I never did.” Punk declared.

CM Punk and Seth Rollins are set to clash in a steel cage match

After calling out John Cena and The Rock, Punk turned his attention to Seth Rollins, the man he blamed for costing him the match. He warned Becky Lynch to control her man, or he’d put Rollins in a wheelchair. Rollins soon made his entrance, and the tension between them took center stage.

Punk charged toward the entrance ramp, and the brawl erupted. Rollins and Punk exchanged blows as security and officials rushed in to break it up. After a brief separation, they were back at it again.

General Manager Adam Pearce sent in additional security, but the fight raged on. Rollins and Punk evaded security, entering the ring, where more officials tried to intervene. Rollins took down several security members, and Punk joined him near the commentary desk, where they clashed once more.

The security eventually got the situation under control, but later in the show, Rollins and Punk resumed their brawl. General Manager Adam Pearce attempted to reason with Rollins, but Rollins fired back, vowing to ensure that Punk wouldn’t make it to WrestleMania. Rollins then declared that he was determined to finish it.

Pearce stated that he was tired of seeing their tensions and encouraged Rollins to settle it once and for all with Punk. Pearce scheduled a Steel Cage bout between the two for next week’s Raw at Madison Square Garden.

The two stars will now battle in a rematch after almost two months on the 03/10 episode of Monday Night Raw, which will emanate from the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden.
