CM Punk blasted Roman Reigns, TKO and WWE in his pipebomb.
WWE is planning to lower ticket prices for WrestleMania 42 very soon, following CM Punkâs explosive RAW pipebomb, where he called out TKO and demanded cheaper seats.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the company also plans to reduce ticket prices throughout the summer as sales continue to lag behind last yearâs pace.
CM Punkâs fiery pipebomb on the April 6 episode of RAW may have struck a nerve with WWE brass. The World Heavyweight Champion did not hold back when he called out TKO executives and demanded lower ticket prices for WrestleMania 42, and according to a new report, the company is preparing to act on those demands.
WWE to soon reduce ticket prices
Per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is reportedly looking to lower ticket prices for WrestleMania 42 very soon.
The report also indicates that the promotion is planning to reduce ticket prices throughout the summer as well, suggesting broader concerns about attendance for upcoming events beyond just the Showcase of the Immortals.
The news comes just days after Punk opened RAW from Houston with a scathing promo aimed at Roman Reigns, Pat McAfee, and the TKO Group.
After tearing into his WrestleMania opponent, Punk shifted his attention to McAfee, who had criticized WWEâs current roster and ticket sales during his SmackDown appearance the previous week.
âDo me a favor, call up that agent that was foolish enough to shoehorn you into this business and this show and tell him to lower the ticket prices,â Punk said. âHouston, lower the ticket prices because I want all these families to come to WrestleMania and watch me stand on Roman Reignsâ throat.â
Punk took direct shots at McAfeeâs agent, TKO CEO Ari Emanuel, telling the ESPN personality to call Emanuel and deliver a message.
WWE ticket sales are quite low

Current ticket sales for WrestleMania 42 are tracking approximately 18 per cent behind last yearâs pace at the same point. Night One has sold 38,711 tickets, while Night Two stands at 40,333, bringing the combined total to 79,044. These figures include both paid and complimentary tickets.
WWE has already quietly reduced prices in recent weeks. The lowest available ticket for Night One dropped from $228 to $177, while Night Twoâs cheapest option fell from $254 to $177. However, based on the WON report, further price cuts appear to be on the horizon.
WrestleMania 42 takes place on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, marking the second consecutive year the event will be held at the venue. The show features major matches, including CM Punk defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes facing Randy Orton for the Undisputed WWE Championship, and Brock Lesnarâs open challenge.
The slower ticket sales have been attributed to multiple factors, including premium pricing, the event returning to the same venue for a second consecutive year, and criticism of the Road to WrestleMania build, which has relied heavily on shock value and last-minute additions rather than long-term storytelling.
