There is no love lost between CM Punk and Seth Rollins.
The rivalry between CM Punk and Seth Rollins is one of the most intense and enduring feuds in WWE today. Both superstars seize every opportunity to target each other, openly expressing their deep-seated animosity and keeping the tension between them constantly escalating.
This time, it’s CM Punk who has taken a shot at Rollins, who has been out of action due to injury and has been enjoying his time in NFL commentary by guest-hosting on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football. However, Punk doesn’t seem to enjoy Rollins’ commentary.
CM Punk wishes Seth Rollins had broken his jaw instead

In a recent appearance on ESPN’s Unsportsmanlike, Punk was asked about Rollins injury. Responding to the question, the World Champion responded by noting that while he doesn’t wish injury on anyone, on this occasion, he wished that Rollins had broken his jaw instead so that he wouldn’t have to hear him talk.
“I don’t wish injury on anybody. He’s out with a pretty devastating shoulder injury and the only thing I can say is I wish he broke his jaw instead so I didn’t have to hear him talk.“
Punk also joked that fans from his hometown, many of them Chicago Bears supporters, have been calling and texting him, asking for Rollins to get back in the ring so they won’t have to watch him on TV talking about the NFL.
“I get more calls and texts from people in Chicago that are Bears fans that are like ‘please bring this guy back to work, we’re sick of hearing him talk about Football. Get him off my TV screen’.
Please keep him away from what I do, so maybe there’s a career for him after wrestling somewhere else, please.“
Seth Rollins has been out of action since Crown Jewel 2025, when he sustained a shoulder injury in his Crown Jewel title match against Cody Rhodes. He was subsequently kicked out of the Vision faction by Bron Breakker on the fallout episode of Raw and has been absent from WWE programming ever since.
On the other hand, Punk is gearing up to defend the World Heavyweight title against Finn Balor in a rematch at the upcoming Elimination Chamber PLE, which will take place on February 28 in his hometown of Chicago. This title defense comes in the backdrop of the announced WrestleMania main event showdown between Punk and Roman Reigns, where the title will be on the line.
