Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre will clash tonight in a rematch
On the historic debut episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix, ‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk triumphed in the main event and defeated Seth Rollins in a grueling match that tested the resilience of both stars.
After the win, Punk was looking to put the feud behind them and focus on the upcoming Royal Rumble PLE to kick off his journey toward the title. However, he was interrupted during last week’s opening segment by Seth Rollins.
The segment between the two was interrupted by Drew McIntyre which led to a war of words between the three stars and ultimately resulted in a clash between Rollins and McIntyre for this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw which will air from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
This will be a rematch of sorts from their last meeting which was at last year’s WrestleMania 40 PLE where McIntyre emerged victorious and captured the World Heavyweight title ending Rollins’ 316-day title reign.

CM Punk announces a new title for the clash between Rollins and McIntyre
Ahead of tonight’s show of the Red brand in Dallas, the Second City Saint took to his Instagram stories to troll the two stars who he has a deeply flawed history with. Posting the match graphic for the clash between Rollins and McIntyre he wrote, “For the divas title!” completing the caption with five star emojis.
The WWE Divas title was retired back in 2016 and it used to be contested in the women’s division. Charlotte Flair was the last officially recognized Divas Champion. Eve Torres and AJ Lee hold the record for most reigns at three.
The story is probably a clever way by the Second City Saint to mock Rollins and McIntyre and get under their skin by implying that they are both acting live ‘divas’.
Punk also fired shots at the New Day and joined the list of fans and WWE stars who despise the New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) since they turned their backs on Big E. The New Day is set to return to in-ring action on tonight’s show.
Posting the promotional graphic of the New Day on his next story Punk wrote, “Hopefully wrestling the APA” and doubled down on the insult by adding a few emojis.
Who do you think will win the clash between Rollins and McIntyre? Who will the New Day’s opponent in their in-ring return tonight? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section.
