CM Punk & Roman Reigns will collide in the main event of WrestleMania.

After winning the men’s Royal Rumble, ‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns chose World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk as his opponent for WWE WrestleMania. The two are now set to battle for the title in the main event of Night Two of the 42nd edition.

Since the announcement, the two men, who already have a lot of disdain for each other, kicked off a promo battle where things took a turn for the worse when Punk mentioned burying Roman next to his father.

Even the Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) took offense to this comment and confronted Punk, leading to the feud turning physical. What has followed has been a beatdown by Reigns last week and Punk responding with a beatdown of his own during this week’s Raw at MSG.

With less than two weeks remaining for the ‘Grandest Stage,’ things are likely going to heat up even more as fans wait for the showdown in Las Vegas. As usual, the betting odds for the clash have been closely analyzed, with sportsbooks and fans debating who will come out on top when the two superstars finally collide.

Notably, as per MyBookie odds, Roman Reigns is the betting favorite to win the World title clash against CM Punk at the ‘Grandest Stage.’

Additionally, BetOnline.ag also has Reigns as the -300 favorite, while Punk is +200 underdog. That said, these betting odds don’t determine the outcome; they only reflect predictions and how bettors are wagering, not what will actually happen in the ring.

At Mania, Punk is looking to retain the title in his fifth defense and continue his reign, which has now surpassed 150 days. On the other hand, Roman is looking to capture gold and reclaim the top throne, which he has lost at WrestleMania 41.

The 42nd edition of WrestleMania will take place as a two-night event on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.

Apart from Reigns and Punk, the show will also feature Cody Rhodes, defending the Undisputed title against Randy Orton. WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill takes on Rhea Ripley, while Stephanie Vaquer defends the Women’s World title against Liv Morgan.

Other marquee matches for the show include Brock Lesnar vs Oba Femi, Seth Rollins vs Gunther, AJ Lee defending the IC title against Becky Lynch, and much more.
