Cody Rhodes family members react to The Rock’s assault on WWE RAW

On the recent episode of WWE Raw, The Rock made his return to confront Cody Rhodes a week ago before the announced schedule. The Final Boss whispered something to Cody, which made him freeze for a moment and walk back. The anticipation of what The Rock whispered to Cody carried the show. Cody however hinted that it was a promise that Rock made which will never happen.

The Great One was not seen then and was teased as if he left the arena, however he showed up during the final few minutes to attack Cody.

During the Jey Uso vs Shinsuke Nakamura match, Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa invaded the ringside to attack Jey. However, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins came for the save, where Cody took Jimmy backstage & Seth was attacked by Drew.

Cody punished Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa backstage, however The Great One attacked Cody from the back. The Rock brutally assaulted Cody with the weapons and dragged him outside the arena in the rain. Rock tore Cody’s shirt and drove him to the bus bursting open his head to bleed.

Rock then pulled out his custom made weight belt written ‘Momma Rhodes’ in it and painted it with Rhodes blood, which he promised to present to Cody’s mom, during his last appearance on SmackDown. The brutal assault has made Cody Rhodes’ family angry, where his brother and wife reacted to it.

Cody’s half-brother, Dustin Rhodes (fka Goldust) on X, immediately following the Raw wrote, “You son of a b**ch”. Following that Cody’s wife also reacted to it saying, “He better keep his security detail tight at Mania. That’s all”.

Dustin and Brandi has been following Cody’s wrestling journey very closely, where Dustin already reacted to Rock’s concert two weeks ago by saying, “F**k the Rock”.

As the tensions get raised and all the family members are being involved, could we be able to see them at WrestleMania, especially Dustin Rhodes has been the biggest question. Although Dustin’s appearance is a question, it seems like he will be in Philadelphia at WrestleMania week, but for WrestleCon, which is scheduled to be held from April 4, 2024 to April 7, 2024, simultaneously during WrestleMania 40.
