Cody Rhodes will defend his undisputed title at SNME next week

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has named the locker room leader in the WWE today during a recent interview with Jazzys World TV.

Rhodes is scheduled to defend his undisputed title against former friend Kevin Owens on December 14 at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The show will be telecasted from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island, New York.

The relationship between the two stars turned sour when Owens attacked Rhodes after Bad Blood 2024 PLE for teaming up with his rival Roman Reigns.

The Stamford-based promotion is bringing back Saturday Night’s Main Event after its last revived run in 2008. The event will feature three title matches as Gunther defends his crown against Finn Balor and Liv Morgan will defend her title against #1 contender Iyo Sky.

Cody Rhodes believes Bayley is the locker room leader in WWE

During a recent interview with Jazzy’s World TV, the Undisputed WWE Champion talked about his father and pro wrestling legend Dusty Rhodes, his Cuban heritage, and his friendship with Randy Orton. Rhodes also named the locker room leader during the interview.

Cody also discussed his triumphant win against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 and discussed the upcoming WrestleMania 41. During the conversation, Rhodes named Bayley as the current locker room leader.

“Here’s the thing I think people don’t know about Bayley. She’s probably the actual current locker room leader. Like, if you’ve got a captain, you know, the ‘C’ on the jersey, it’s probably her and Randy Orton. In terms of, if you need something done, ‘Hey, such and such doesn’t need to be late anymore. Hey, we need energy for this show.’ She’s the locker room leader, and she should be.” Rhodes said.

The undisputed champion has high praise for the former Grand Slam Champion, he also named ‘The Viper’ Randy Orton as the locker room leader alongside Bayley. Rhodes praised Bayley for her leadership skills and ability to get things done behind the scenes.
