The Road to WrestleMania 41 is underway
WWE Elimination Chamber contains a good mix of high-stakes matchups, possibly epic moments and pure narrative that should play an important role in the Road to WrestleMania.
Monday’s Raw broadcast, the last one before Elimination Chamber, did little to impact the structure of the card. Even after Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez defeated Bianca Belair and Naomi to win the women’s tag-team championship, this remains true. If anything, it somewhat alters.
As it stands, the WWE men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber matchups will remain the most important to watch. However, some may say that Cody Rhodes’ decision to accept or decline The Rock’s invitation to become the Corporate Champion is the most compelling.
You have to anticipate that both Elimination Chamber fights and the Unsanctioned match between Owens and Zayn will be rather lengthy. I would be astonished if Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn didn’t work for at least 20 minutes.
We know the Elimination Chamber matchups will last at least 30 minutes each battle. The issue now is: how elaborate and exciting will the Rhodes-Rock part be?
If it’s the setting for an epic heel turn, you can guarantee it’ll receive plenty of screen time. Conventional thinking holds that WWE will not totally reveal the greatest payday on the Road to WrestleMania at the Elimination Chamber. However, they must do something to make the premium live event memorable.
Roman Reigns is currently not involved, but this might change in the Elimination Chamber. It is possible. We’ve all been waiting for Hikuleo’s arrival, but we haven’t seen Tama Tonga or Tonga Loa’s brother.
Likewise, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa are not the primary emphasis of this PLE. The final WWE PLE without the Bloodline was Bash in Berlin in August 2024.
Normally, that would be problematic. However, with CM Punk, John Cena, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Logan Paul, Cody Rhodes and The Rock scheduled to appear, the PLE should have enough star power.
