The Women’s World Champion is set to address the WWE Universe tonight on Raw!

Women’s World Champion Naomi was set to defend the title against Iyo Sky last week. However, the match was cancelled as the Champion was not cleared for in-ring action. The World Champion will make an appearance on tonight’s episode of Raw to ‘sound off on ‘the state of the Women’s World Championship’. T

The August 18 episode of Monday Night Raw is set to air live from the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There’s a lot of certainty surrounding her future, with rumors of injury, pregnancy, or all of being part of a storyline.

If the rumors are true and Naomi is pregnant, she will likely step away from WWE programming for a long time. Here we take a look at the top three contenders for the World title if Naomi decides to vacate the title tonight in Philadelphia.

3. Rhea Ripley

Since winning the Women’s World title for the second time, Rhea Ripley was looking to defend the title at WrestleMania against the winner of the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. However, Ripley lost the title right after the aforementioned PLE at the hands of Iyo Sky.

Ripley has since been unable to regain the title and also defeat Iyo for the first time. Rhea came very close to doing so at Evolution 2025, but Naomi’s MITB cash-in ruined her chances. While Ripley was pinned by the current Champion at SummerSlam in a triple-threat match involving Sky, she is still one of the biggest stars in the promotion and would be the front-runner for the title.

2. Iyo Sky

Iyo Sky was eagerly waiting for the title rematch last week after failing in the triple-threat match at SummerSlam. However, Sky is likely going to let the chance to regain the title go and would likley either demand GM Adam Pearce to book the match again or if Naomi is unable to compete, book her for the vacant title.

1. Stephanie Vaquer

The top runner for the Women’s World Champion is the former NXT Women’s Champion, Stephanie Vaquer, who won the 20-woman battle royal at Evolution and is ready to battle Naomi for the title at Clash in Pairs. However, the uncertainty around Naomi likely means either WWE postpones the title match or books Vaquer vs Sky for the upcoming Clash in Paris.

Since her arrival on the main roster from NXT, Vaquer has become one of the top stars in the division and a fresh face holding the title would provide multiple new storylines for the promotion.
