Jey Uso is one of the top babyfaces in the active WWE roster!

Jey Uso is one of the biggest babyfaces and the most celebrated wrestlers among fans on the active WWE roster. Ever since Jey left the Bloodline, he created his own identity and evolved into one of the biggest singles stars in the company, who is currently on his pursuit to win his first singles championship in the company.

Jey had a recent on-and-off time in the bookings, which would have frustrated many, but he is back on track with several potential angles open for him. Here we take a look at the top three creative plots for Jey Uso following this week’s (September 02, 2024) episode of WWE Raw.

3. Romantic angle with Rhea Ripley

Based on this week’s episode of Raw, it seems like Rhea Ripley and Jey Uso are falling on the same page. Ripley blindly trusted Jey to have the back of Priest for the tag team match and Yeeted for him backstage. Jey on the other hand told Priest that he agreed to team up and take on Judgment Day for Rhea.

During the match, when Liv had her hands on Jey, Rhea rushed to ringside to make the save and also Yeeted with Jey to celebrate the win. Based on this, WWE could book Jey & Rhea in a romantic on-screen storyline.

2. Tag Team titles with Damian Priest

Jey teamed up with Damian Priest for a tag team match facing the World Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and JD McDonagh in the main event of the show. During the match, Joe Tessitore from the Raw commentary desk hinted that a potential win against the champs could give them a chance to challenge for the title in the future.

As Jey and Damian secured the win over the champs, they could challenge them for a title shot in the upcoming weeks, similar to how Rhea demanded a rematch after pinning Liv Morgan at Bash in Berlin. With this, The Terror Twins along with Jey could hold the title at the same time.

1. IC title rivalry with Bron Breakker

Jey Uso officially entered the Intercontinental Championship #1 Contenders tournament finals and is one match away from challenging Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental title. Last week on Raw, Breaker took a shot at Jey Uso and his family saying that none of their family members defeated their family members, making things personal between them.

Bron said the same this week in front of Jey’s face backstage. He also advised Jey to go after Ripley removing himself from the tournament. It seems like the seeds are already sowed for a title-based generational rivalry between them.
