2024 Crown Jewel becomes breaks all-time WWE viewership record

WWE Crown Jewel 2024 PLE was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
WWE Crown Jewel 2024 marked the beginning of a brand-new tradition for the promotion, as the world champions from Raw and SmackDown squared off to crown the inaugural champion in both the men’s and women’s divisions.
The highly anticipated event took place in Saudi Arabia. The promotion hosted the PLE on November 2, 2024, at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in the capital city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
WWE booked a total of seven matches for the show featuring some of the major stars in the company. In the ‘Champion vs Champion’ clash, Cody Rhodes picked up the win against Gunther in the Men’s inaugural Crown Jewel Title.
On the other hand, Liv Morgan defeated Nia Jax to win the Women’s inaugural Crown Jewel Title. The winners were awarded a brand new Championship ring after the PLE.

Crown Jewel 2024 was the most-watched WWE’s Saudi Arabia show in history
According to a WWE press release, the Saudi PLE broke all previous records, becoming the most-watched event in WWE’s history in Saudi Arabia.
The statement highlighted a 28 percent increase in viewership compared to the 2023 edition of the PLE. The promotion also celebrated the show’s success at the gate, claiming that the Mohammed Abdo Arena was sold out.
“Saturday’s Crown Jewel event from Riyadh saw a 28% viewership increase vs. 2023, marking a new record as the most-viewed WWE event ever from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Additionally, the sixth annual Crown Jewel sold out Mohammed Abdo Arena in Saudi Arabia’s capital city.” The company said in the press release.
The PLE featured some of the biggest feuds that were brewing before the show and culminated at the Mohammed Abdo Arena. Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline defeated the team of Roman Reigns & The Usos in a grudge match.
While Kevin Owens and Randy Orton’s heated rivalry culminated in a non-finish as the two stars battered each other without the match being officially started. Seth Rollins on the other hand picked up a win against his fierce rival ‘Big’ Bronson Reed.
