The 2025 edition of the PLE will emanate from St. Louis!
The Stamford-based promotion is all set to deliver the 2025 edition of Backlash, which will be the first Premium Live Event since WrestleMania 41. The 20th edition of the event will take place on Saturday, May 10, at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
WWE has put a stacked card for the show, the main event will feature an iconic showdown between two legends as John Cena will put the Undisputed WWE title on the line against a familiar foe, Randy Orton.
A singles match for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship is also set for the show, where the current Champion Lyra Valkyria is set to lock horns with Becky Lynch. The match was set following Lynch’s unwarranted attack on Valkyria, her tag team partner, after they lost the Women’s Tag Team titles. Apart from these, a fatal four-way match for the US title and a singles match for the IC title is also set for the PLE.
Ahead of the PLE, BetOnline has released the latest betting odds for the blockbuster event. These odds point towards who the oddsmakers believe will emerge victorious at the 2025 edition. The 17-time WWE World Champion, John Cena, is once again a heavy favorite.
On the other hand, Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria is trailing behind the challenger Becky Lynch, who is the favorite to win. Additionally, in the singles match between Gunther and Pat McAfee, the Ring General is a massive favorite, deservedly so against the sports analyst.
