The night one of WWE SummerSlam 2025 is a few hours away. The night one edition is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 2, live from the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, U.S.A. This will be the first two-night SummerSlam event, a format only reserved for WrestleMania previously.

The 2025 edition will feature stars from both Raw and SmackDown brands and will be the first SummerSlam PLE to stream on Netflix. Adding star power to the blockbuster weekend, rap icon Cardi B will act as the official hostess of WWE SummerSlam.

The World Heavyweight title will be contested in the main event of night one as Gunther will battle CM Punk, who is looking to capture the title after over a decade. The show will also feature multiple big names, including Roman Reigns, Jelly Roll, CM Punk, Tiffany Stratton, Randy Orton, and Charlotte Flair, among others.
