The Bullet Club is one of the renowned factions in the history of Japanese wrestling.

WWE has seen many factions. But there are stables in the world of professional wrestling that have always been an intriguing part to watch for wrestling fans. One prominent name that has been prevalent for years, especially in New Japan Pro Wrestling has been The Bullet Club.

The notorious factions came to prominence with their multiple successful stints and incarnations, with the leadership assumed by various popular WWE superstars on the roster today. Here is a look at those five current WWE superstars who were a part of The Bullet during various periods:

5. Tama Tonga

Tama Tonga was a part of the founding team of The Bullet Club in 2013. With Finn Balor, Karl Anderson and Bad Luck Fale, the four men got the ball rolling for The Bullet Club. Their dominance as a group set the tone for future successful incarnations of the stable that saw stars like Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, Kazuchika Okada and AJ Styles.

4. The Good Brothers

The Good Brothers, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows were considered the cornerstones of Bullet Club during their stay. The duo was an integral part of the faction from 2013 and gained worldwide fame as a formidable tag team with their NJPW stint that lasted until 2016. Anderson and Gallows went on to compete in various promotions and are currently a part of WWE’s main roster and developmental territory, NXT.

3. Finn Balor

The name ‘Bullet Club’ was coined with the emergence of Finn Balor, then known as Prince Devitt in NJPW, in 2013. Balor was considered one of the Bullet Club originals with the vision of forming a faction that would take over the promotion and Balor being in the center as the leader. He was joined by Karl Anderson, Tama Tonga and Bad Luck Fale, which set the tone for Balor’s eventual arrival in WWE and gained worldwide recognition.

2. Cody Rhodes

The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes left WWE in 2016 to join NJPW and became a part of The Bullet Club, which was a turning point in his career. His time with the renowned faction refined his skills as a character and overall superstar, battling the likes of Adam Page and Kenny Omega. This stint helped Rhodes rejuvenate his career, leading to him forming AEW in 2019 and eventually returning to WWE in 2022 to begin his road to the top of the mountain.

1. AJ Styles

AJ Styles became a part of The Bullet Club in 2014, making a huge impact with his incredible in-ring style and charismatic presence. Rising through the ranks, Styles quickly assumed the leadership of the faction and led the group through a dominant phase before leaving NJPW in 2016 to join WWE.
