WWE & TNA announced a multi-year partnership in January
WWE part of TKO Group Holdings and TNA Wrestling announced a multi-year partnership in January which is aimed at creating unprecedented crossover opportunities within WWE and TNA programming for NXT Superstars and TNA Wrestling Stars.
The agreement enabled talent to accumulate additional exposure across key programming of both promotions, including weekly flagship shows such as NXT and TNA iMPACT!, as well as select WWE Premium Live Events and TNA pay-per-views.
The agreement has opened the doors for emerging stars as multiple stars from both promotions have made cross appearances, the partnership also helped the Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff Hardy) to make their WWE return after so long and perform inside the squared ring.
Stars such as Joe Hendry, Cora Jade, Jacy Jayne, Moose and Oba Femi among others have made cross appearances involved in storylines and matches with stars from the two promotions. While the agreement has been very successful the actual contract length of the agreement was never revealed until now.
WWE NXT and TNA wrestling begin informal collaboration in May 2024
According to PWInsider, the working relationship between the Stamford-based promotion and the Nashville-based promotion is believed to be a three-year agreement.
WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling started an informal partnership in May 2024, when the then-TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace made a surprise appearance on WWE’s developmental brand and challenged the then NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez for the title at NXT Battleground 2024.
Grace then joined the Stamford-based promotion and made her debut during the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match. She currently performs under the developmental brand NXT.
The NXT-TNA partnership will be showcased again at TNA’s upcoming Rebellion PPV which is set for April 27 at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California.
NXT talents set to appear include Fatal Influence’s Jacy Jayne, Jazmyn Nyx, and Fallon Henley. Additionally, NXT’s Ethan Page will compete in a three-way match for the TNA World Title against Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian.
