The former WWE Chairman celebrated his 80th birthday last week!
Former WWE Chairman and co-founder, Vince McMahon, has been away from the limelight since resigning in 2024, except for a few instances, like an appearance in the Hulk Hogan documentary.
However, McMahon last week celebrated his 80th birthday with a lavish party, which was attended by multiple top names in the WWE, including legends, Hall of Famers, and current superstars.
WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long, who attended the party, has offered fans a rare glimpse into McMahon’s private 80th birthday celebration, putting an end to weeks of speculation about the guest list, the event itself, and McMahon’s appearance during the milestone occasion.
John Cena was seated directly with Vince McMahon

In an appearance on WrestleBinge, Long shared that the two-night celebration took place at Gotham Hall in New York City.
He also disclosed that he was originally seated at a random table, but was soon moved to McMahon’s table by the staff. Long also revealed that he and John Cena were the only talent seated directly with the former WWE Chairman.
“I just go and sit down at a table, and they come and get me, The lady says, ‘You Teddy Long?’ I said, ‘Yeah.’ She said, ‘Well, you’re at Vince’s table.’
So only [people at] that table as far as talent was me, John Cena,” Long revealed.
During the conversation, Long also shared a moment he had with McMahon during the party and addressed the rumors about McMahon’s health.
“First thing he did say to me, said, ‘It was so nice to see you. It is so good to see you.’ And I thanked him for everything that he’s done for me
He didn’t look bad to me… His face looked like it might have been a little swole or something like that, but he looked nice to me. Had on a nice suit both nights. Man. I mean, he was getting around, moving around, he looked great to me.” Long said about Mcmahon’s health.
Jelly Roll performed during the birthday celebrations
Regarding the entertainment, Long dismissed rumors that AC/DC or Kid Rock performed, confirming that Jelly Roll was the main act. He also mentioned that the night started with a Brooklyn-based choir and an opera-style singer. “Entertainment was Jelly Roll. Jelly Roll came out,”
Long also revealed that Shane McMahon, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon’s daughters were all present at the celebration. He added that Stephanie’s daughters even performed a special birthday song for their grandfather.
“[Hunter] brought them up and had them sing happy birthday to him,”
When asked if Stephanie herself was there, Long said: “No, Stephanie was not there.”
According to a report from PWInsider.com, the guest list featured The Undertaker and Michelle McCool, Kane, John Cena, Gerald Brisco, Sheamus, Bruce Prichard, JBL, Sgt. Slaughter, Shane McMahon, Ron Killings (R-Truth), among others.
