Sasha Banks (Mercedes Moné) is currently signed with AEW

Roman Reigns & Sasha Banks are two of the biggest names in the professional wrestling world. Fans remember their time together in WWE, especially their memorable team-up in 2016 on RAW, where Reigns and Banks took on Charlotte Flair and Miro (formerly Rusev) in a thrilling mixed tag team match.

Their chemistry in the ring was undeniable, and fans loved every minute of it. They also shared a warm friendship off-screen, which only fueled more rumors since, then many have been wondering whether they dated each other or not.

During a Q&A on Facebook, Banks even called Reigns “hot,” and that one comment had fans buzzing with questions. Could there be something more between The Boss and The Tribal Chief?

However, the truth is far simpler: Roman Reigns is happily married to his college sweetheart, Galina Becker, since 2014. They’ve built a life together, raising five kids, and Reigns has always been committed to his family.

Meanwhile, Sasha Banks (now known as Mercedes Moné in AEW) married costume designer Sarath Ton. Though Banks and Ton announced their split earlier this year after eight years of marriage, there’s no record of any romantic connection between her and Reigns.

Roman Reigns faced his second loss this year at the hands of Solo Sikoa

At Crown Jewel 2024, Reigns made his second in-ring appearance since losing his Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania XL.

This time though, things didn’t go his way; Reigns suffered a clean pinfall loss at the hands of his cousin, Solo Sikoa. This shocking turn has fans wondering if cracks are starting to form in The Bloodline’s foundation.

With Crown Jewel behind him, Reigns is scheduled to return to action at Survivor Series 2024 in Vancouver, Canada, on November 30, where he’s expected to compete in a WarGames match, according to Dave Meltzer.

Until then, all eyes are on SmackDown, where Reigns is set to address the chaos from Crown Jewel, including the unintentional blow he received from Sami Zayn. The Bloodline’s story has been full of twists, and if there’s one thing WWE fans know, it’s to expect the unexpected—especially when Triple H and the creative team are involved.
