Both outlets also reported that TKO hosted a company-wide virtual town hall earlier today, where WWE President Nick Khan announced that Levesque has signed a new deal to continue in his role as WWE’s Chief Content Officer.

The report also mentions that, during the WWE portion of the call, Khan also dismissed the social media backlash toward WrestleMania 42, pointing out that past WrestleManias have faced similar criticism from fans online, which isn’t a reliable measure of how the broader audience views the event or its overall success.

During the call, each TKO Group division, including WWE, UFC, and PBR, spent around five minutes highlighting their recent successes. Per Insider, the whole meeting had a distinctly upbeat tone.

Several other topics were also discussed, including UFC’s planned event at the White House later this year, On Location’s initiatives, and major global events like the World Cup and the Olympics.
