Liv Morgan is one of the top stars in the active WWE roster

Liv Morgan is one of the highly talented female WWE Superstar, who has been in WWE since 2014. Morgan, in her decade long career in WWE, has been a four time champion which includes the Women’s World Champion/SmackDown Women’s Championship win twice, WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship twice and won the Money in the Bank briefcase once.

She is the current Women’s World Champion and has been leading the Raw women’s division. Liv is currently a major star in the WWE roster and here we take a look at how Liv Morgan became the WWE superstar.

Liv Morgan’s journey of becoming a top WWE star

Earlier this year, Liv Morgan appeared for an interview with Insight with Chris Van Vliet, where Liv recalled her past on the series of events, from being a Hooters girl to becoming a WWE Superstar.

Liv Morgan said that she worked at Hooters and everyone working there knew that she loves wrestling. She used to work on her bar shifts putting WWE on TV. Before her time at hooters, there was a wrestler who managed the Hooters branch.

Liv Morgan said,

“Everyone at Hooters knew I loved wrestling. I’d be doing my bar shifts, I’d put WWE on the TV… everybody knew it was my thing. Before my time [at Hooters] there was a wrestler who will not be named who used to manage this specific Hooters.”

Liv met the wrestler once and introduced herself saying that she wanted to wrestle and shared her wrestling knowledge with the person.

Morgan continued,

“Me being the big WWE fan that I was, I saw this wrestler come into Hooters and I knew they were exactly and I introduced myself… I talked to this wrestler for a while and I was like ‘I want to wrestle!’ And they were like ‘Haha, yeah.’ And I just spit all my wrestling knowledge to them and ‘Okay, you really do love wrestling.’

The Unknown wrestler introduced her to Joe DeFranco, who is the known strength and conditioning coach for pro-wrestlers and NFT guys. He was one of the people who trained Triple H on a weekly basis. DeFranco helped Liv train among the NFL guys in Wyckoff, New Jersey and helped her to get into WWE tryouts.

Morgan continued saying,

“So they introduced me to this man Joe DeFranco. He’s a world-renowned strength and conditioning coach. He only trains professional athletes and he actually trained Triple H on a weekly basis so I went to his gym and he threw me right in with his NFL guys.”

Liv Morgan then got contracted after the WWE Tryouts in 2014 six months later, after starting training. In a span of a decade, she became a four time champion in the company. She held the Women’s World Championship twice and WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship twice.
