Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Instagram hints that he is WrestleMania 41 ready
Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, who had the most successful wrestling career. He is best known for his time during the late 90s and early 2000s when he was dominating the industry like no other. Although Austin retired from a pro-wrestling career, he showed up occasionally for sporadic appearances in major events, especially at WrestleMania.
Austin recently posted his picture on Instagram and it became a debate online, which most believe that he could step inside the ring for one more match.
Steve Austin is WrestleMania 41 ready
Steve Austin on the recent Instagram photo looks more jacked up than ever and it seems like he is WrestleMania 41 ready. Austin posted the picture from the Reno Race in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In a recent interview with The Athletic, he said that he won’t be leaving Nevada until WrestleMania next year, seemingly hinting at his appearance. At this stage, here we take a look at Stone Cold’s top three dream opponents for WrestleMania 41.
3. John Cena
WrestleMania 41 will be John Cena’s final WrestleMania for John Cena. Since the stakes are surrounding Cena, Austin could be one of the opponents for Cena’s retirement tour.
Both Austin & Cena are the top stars of their era and their legacy speaks for themselves. They never had a match against each other and the potential match between these two could peak the ticket sales for next year’s event.
2. CM Punk
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs CM Punk was already teased in the past, but it never happened. As per the internal rumors, it is believed that Punk vs Austin has been in discussion and could expect a match sooner or later.
Since Punk is away from the title picture & Austin seems WrestleMania-ready, the potential match between the two could set the stakes at the pinnacle.
There are a lot of possibilities that this match could happen, as Austin showed up to wrestle at WrestleMania 38 against Kevin Owens. If KO could do it, the Best in the World could call the Texas rattle to the ring again.
1. The Rock
The Rock vs Stone Cold Steve Austin rivalry is one of the biggest rivalries in WWE history. Both took each other’s blood, sweat and flesh back in the years. Austin should have shown up at WrestleMania 40 to attack The Rock at the Night 2 main event, but the plans were scrapped due to financial negotiations.
However, Austin can show up next year to bring the nostalgic Attitude Era rivalry back into force. Rock vs Austin for one last time could break all the records in the pro-wrestling industry.
