The two stars have had a long-standing rivalry

While some feuds in WWE are short-lived and quickly resolved, others simmer for a long time, such as the rivalry between ‘The Scottish Psychopath’ Drew McIntyre and Seth “Freakin” Rollins. The two stars have collided multiple times be it during the Sheild days or after Rollins kicked off his singles run.

The two stars are not just one of the biggest in the promotion but also one of the most accomplished ones. Mcintyre has been with the Stamford-based promotion since 2007, barring a few years. McIntyre captured his first WWE title in 2009 when he defeated John Morriss to become the Intercontinental champion.

Drew also held the WWE Tag Team Championship one time with Cody Rhodes. However, after a few failed gimmicks, the Scottish Pyscopath gained momentum by winning the NXT Championship in 2017 which kicked off his resurgence.

Drew went on to become the two-time WWE World Tag Team Champion alongside Dolph Ziggler and a two-time WWE Champion. The Scottish Warrior broke through when he defeated Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 41 for the World Heavyweight title, but his victory was short-lived as Damian Priest cashed in and pinned McIntyre.

On the other hand, Rollins started his journey on the main roster with the Shield (Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose) in 2012. Since starting his singles reign, Rollins has been a constant top contender and has produced some of the most iconic moments of the modern era.

The Visionary has captured every title there is in the Stamford-based promotion and is a WWE Grand Slam Champion. Rollins is a two-time United States and Intercontinental Champion, he has also held the WWE World Tag Team Championship six times with different tag partners.

Along with the NXT title, Rollins has also held the WWE World Heavyweight title as well as the Undisputed WWE title. However, he has not held any titles since his last loss at WrestleMania 41 where his 316 days title reign came to an end at the hands of McIntyre.
