Dustin Rhodes to help Cody Rhodes against The Bloodline at WrestleMania 40? Legend pitches potential WWE-AEW crossover

Ever since Cody Rhodes returned to WWE, he has been aiming to finish his storyline by becoming the World Champion. Cody went for the title last year by winning the Royal Rumble, to main event WrestleMania 39 for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns, where he failed to capture the title.

Cody Rhodes won the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble and challenged Roman Reigns again for the title at WrestleMania 40 in a high-drama. As the complete American Dream family were involved in the storyline, Cody’s brother, Dustin Rhodes was the one who left out. Now a Hall of Famer pitches a potential collaboration between WWE & AEW.

WWE Hall of Famer & AEW official, “The World Strongest Man” Mark Henry recently appeared for an interview with Busted Open Radio and pitched one of the interesting topics in the wrestling industry. Mark Henry says that the Stamford based company needs to work on a relationship with AEW to make Dustin Rhodes appear in WWE for the road to WrestleMania.

Mark Henry said,

“Well, we definitely needed to see it. And as far as there being an opportunity for a working relationship, which Triple H said a year and change ago, that they’re open for a working relationship with AEW. It’s yet to be seen, but they were open for it. This is the time, if you ever were going to do it, try to get it done, you’ve got four weeks.”

The Stamford based company has previously collaborated with TNA/Impact Wrestling & AJPW in the past, where they brought Mickie James & Jordynne Grace to the company & sent Charlie Dempsey to AJPW. We also have witnessed Bayley & Naomi in AEW on the audience side, however it is unofficial.
