The WWE star was pulled over by cops in Hollywood.
According to a report by TMZ, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was stopped by police in Hollywood, California, following a Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.
Johnson was in attendance on Thursday to celebrate Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci at their shared Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony at 6930 Hollywood Boulevard. Other notable names present were Robert Downey Jr., Meryl Streep, and Matt Damon.
Per the report, he was pulled over by cops for tinted windows. Additionally, there was no confirmation on whether the officer recognized him, but given Johnson’s high-profile presence, it was unlikely to be an ordinary traffic stop.
The Rock has been absent from WWE TV since early 2025
The Final Boss has yet to return to WWE programming since partaking and being a major part in John Cena’s infamous heel turn at the 2025 edition of Elimination Chamber.
Despite speculations and rumors about an appearance at WrestleMania 42 to boost ticket sales for the event, Johnson did not make his WWE return.
It remains to be seen if he manages to take some time and return to pro wrestling and be involved in the much-awaited and rumoured clash with Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania in Saudi Arabia next year, or even a normal appearance.
Despite his absence, Johnson continues to make big bucks due to his presnece on TKO’s board. A proxy statement filed with the SEC last week revealed Johnson’s pay package for 2025. Johnson received a $30 million stock award and earned $900,000 in royalties under a decade-long merchandising and independent contractor deal he entered into when he joined TKO’s Board in January 2024.
In addition, he was paid $600,000 in reimbursements for “certain travel expenses associated with delivering services under the Johnson Services Agreement.”
