Flair and Cargill exchanged blows while both attempted to climb the ladder and capture the championship. Earlier in the match, Green also appeared close to securing the title after knocking Stratton into the other competitors by pushing over a ladder, but Cargill’s allies, B-Fab and Michin, prevented her from reaching the championship.
With Flair and Cargill eventually taken out of the equation, Green capitalized on the opening and climbed the ladder to become the interim WWE Women’s Champion.
