John Cena is now a record 17-time world champion

The clock is winding down on the legendary career of John Cena, and the WWE Universe is clinging to every advertised appearance as part of what feels like the most emotional farewell tour in WWE history.

With reports suggesting only 24 appearances remain for the 17-time World Champion, fans are now keeping track of each show he’s scheduled for even if the appearances haven’t all been confirmed by WWE.

John Cena, now portraying a darker, more unpredictable version of himself after siding with The Rock at Elimination Chamber, is advertised for several major events in the coming months.

While cards are always subject to change, these listings offer a glimpse into where fans might get one last chance to see The Champ in action.

It all kicks off with Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24 in Tampa, where John Cena is rumored, though not officially announced, to face R-Truth.

From there, he’s listed for SmackDown on May 30 in Knoxville, leading into a pivotal weekend at Money in the Bank (June 7 in LA) and RAW on June 9 in Phoenix, which will be the first post-MITB show and likely full of fallout.

June also includes two more Friday night stops: Lexington on June 13 and Grand Rapids on June 20. After a brief break, John Cena is advertised for three episodes of SmackDown in August, followed by WWE Clash in Paris on August 31, marking his return to international PLEs, and then again at WWE Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia on October 11.

All the currently advertised dates for John Cena

  • May 24 – WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event (Tampa, FL)
  • May 30 – WWE SmackDown (Knoxville, TN)
  • June 7 – WWE Money in the Bank (Los Angeles, CA)
  • June 9 – WWE RAW (Phoenix, AZ)
  • June 13 – WWE SmackDown (Lexington, KY)
  • June 20 – WWE SmackDown (Grand Rapids, MI)
  • August 8 – WWE SmackDown (Montreal, Quebec, Canada)
  • August 15 – WWE SmackDown (Dublin, Ireland)
  • August 29 – WWE SmackDown (Lyon, France)
  • August 31 – WWE Clash in Paris (Paris, France)
  • October 11 – WWE Crown Jewel: Perth (Perth, Australia)

When you factor in these eleven advertised events and the rumored final match in Boston this December, that leaves just 12 unannounced appearances left in Cena’s retirement run.

So whether it’s in the U.S. or across the globe, the countdown continues. If you’re lucky enough to be in the crowd for one of these events, cherish it because this might be your last chance to chant “Let’s go Cena!” live.
