The 10/8 episode of WWE NXT featured some of the big matches and segments!

WWE successfully hosted the October 08, 2024 episode of WWE NXT from the Factory at The District in Chesterfield, Missouri, United States.

This is the second edition of NXT Premiere on The CW and the company has showcased some of the interesting matches and segments on the show. Get to know what happened on this week’s WWE NXT, as we came out with the complete summary of the show.

Trick Williams, Wes Lee & Jey Uso Segment

The new NXT Champion Trick William kicked off this week’s NXT by hyping the crowd up. Trick said that he’s Tricky Two Times, but he knows that there are a lot of sharks in the locker room, who could come for the title. Williams was interrupted by Wes Lee on the balcony, cutting him in half.

Trick said that he is looking to become a Triple Crown Champion having his sights on the NXT Championship. Trick said that he knows people similar to Lee, who act to be friends and stab in the back. Lee vowed to take the title from him. Jey Uso joined Trick inside the ring to showcase respect and celebrate together.

Six-Woman Tag Team Match- Kelani Jordan, Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair vs Fatal Influence

Kelani Jordan teamed up with Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair to take on Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx in a six-woman tag team match.

The champions had the advantage for the majority of the match, however Fatal Influence had some brief control and gave a tough fight. In the final moment, Belair and Cargill delivered the DDT-German Suplex Combo and tagged Jordan to deliver the split-legged moonsault on Nxt to win the match.

Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade – Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer

Roxanne Perez addressed the victory over Giulia last week, claiming that she is not the international chosen one anymore. She said that she enjoys drinking the tears of her opponent, but she is not drinking alone to call out Cora Jade.

Jade addressed her hiatus and told how NXT became so deep. She wishes to make NXT themselves with Roxanne. Roxanne said that she should have listened to Jade years ago and finally realized it now.

Giulia interrupted them, but she was not alone. Stephanie Vaquer made her NXT debut and both went on to attack Perez and Jade and made them retreat. After forcing them to move backstage, both Giulia and Vaquer took the title at the same time and starred each other.

NXT North American Championship Match- Oba Femi vs Tony D’Angelo

Oba Femi defended his NXT North American Championship against Tony D’Angelo in a singles match. Both had a toe-to-toe tough match, with momentum swinging both sides. Tony had the initial advantage with a series of offenses, but Femi took it from him in the middle of the match.

The Family tried to distract Oba, but Oba took them out. It was a long match with a lot of nearfalls. However, in the final moments of the match Tony delivered a couple of Spinebusters and Oba tried for Chokeslam, however, Tony used the sunset flip to roll Femi and secure the win.

NXT Tag Team Championship- Axiom & Nathan Frazer vs A-Town Down Under

Axiom and Nathan Frazer defended their NXT Tag Team Championship against A-Town Down Under in a tag team match. The match went in a rapid phase, with both exchanging offenses.

Axiom and Frazer showcased extreme high-flying moves, whereas Theory and Waller used their isolation tricks and blind attacks. In the final moments, Axiom performed a Spanish Fly and Frazer Performed a Phoenix Splash on Waller to retain the title.

Sexxy Red, Ethan Page & Je’Von Evans

Sexxy Red performed a song, but got interrupted by Page. Who claimed that the party is over, saying that he should still be the NXT Champion and should face Randy Orton defending his title. He took a shot at Je’Von Evans and the 20 year old interrupted him and sent him out.

Randy Orton vs Je’Von Evans

Randy Orton faced Je’Von Evans in a singles match in the main event. Orton had the initial control, but Evans was bouncy and surprised Orton with some innovative offenses. Evans performed some of the extreme highflying moves, but Orton gave it back with powerful slams and offenses. At one point, Evans almost had Orton, however Orton fought back and delivered a picture perfect RKO to retain the title.
