Seth Rollins & CM Punk have a lot of beef with each other!
Seth Rollins and CM Punk developed tensions between them since day one of Punk’s WWE return. They never got to the terms and showed hatred wherever they went. Rollins once called him a cancer and asked to leave his home, which is WWE. Punk however said that he would prove him wrong by winning the Royal Rumble and challenging Rollins.
It was widely speculated that the two would clash at WrestleMania. However, Punk tore his triceps and was written out of action for a very long time. Although Punk was busy with injury and a heated rivalry with Drew McIntyre, the tension with Seth Rollins was always teased and the confrontations happened on a number of occasions. Here we take a look at every time Rollins interrupted Punk in WWE.
Every time Seth Rollins interrupted CM Punk
On the December 11, 2023, episode of Monday Night Raw, CM Punk officially signed his contract to become the newest member of the red roster. As soon as Punk signed the contract, The World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins interrupted Punk for the very first time.
Rollins asked Punk not to call WWE his home because he abandoned the company ten years ago and actively tried to tear it down. Rollins claims that it is his company now and will do everything to protect the company from him. He wished Punk could destroy himself and Rollins would expose his through colors and bury his legacy, and show who the “Best in the World” is. Punk then challenged himself and promised to win the 2024 Royal Rumble and come for Rollins’ world title.
On the March 25, 2024, episode of Raw, Punk was interrupted by Drew McIntyre and Rollins before their WrestleMania match. Punk’s reaction to Rollins’ interruption became a talking point at that time. During the segment, Rollins pitched the idea of Punk either being a referee or the commentator for their World Heavyweight Championship, as it is the only way Punk could use him to earn the spotlight.
On the July 8, 2024, episode of Raw, Rollins interrupted Punk after Money in the Bank PLE, where Rollins interrupted during his world title match to attack Drew and make Priest retain the title. Punk was just weeks away from getting cleared from his injury and Rollins warned him saying that as soon as Punk gets cleared, he will come for him, before Drew McIntyre.
On the August 5, 2024, episode of Raw, on the fallout of SummerSlam said that he wanted a rematch against Drew McIntyre and called him out. However, Seth Rollins interrupted Punk addressing the GTS Punk gave to Rollins at SummerSlam, and teased kick-starting a brawl, however, Drew appeared in the crowd with the bracelet, which made Punk chase him and Rollins getting attacked by Bronson Reed.
On the October 7, 2024, episode of Raw, Punk kicked off the show to address his Hell in a Cell match and his physical conditions and ended his promo, where Rollins confronted Punk on the entrance ramp for a quick face-off. Rollins then asked Punk to return back soon, to get his career ended by Rollins.
