A viral social media post claiming the Role Model was added to WWE’s Alumni page is going viral.

The WWE Universe was sent into a frenzy after a viral post on X claimed that Bayley had been moved to the Alumni section of WWE’s official roster page. The post, accompanied by a screenshot, quickly fueled speculation that “The Role Model” had quietly exited WWE.

However, the claim is false.

The screenshot circulating on social media has been altered or taken out of context. At the time of writing, there has been no official announcement from WWE, no statement from Bayley, and no credible report confirming that she has left the company or been moved to WWE’s Alumni roster.

Why did fans believe the rumor?

The fake post gained traction because it arrived shortly after Bayley’s brutal loss to Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18.

Following the match, Valkyria launched a vicious post-match assault that left the Role Model laid out, creating what many felt was a storyline write-off.

That angle prompted Bryan Alvarez to speculate about the former Women’s World Champion’s future on Wrestling Observer Radio.

“She’s either gone, or they want you to think that she’s gone. I mean this was a—Lyra beat her and then she destroyed her afterwards… it really was like a blow-off like that’s the end of Bayley. We’ll see.”

Dave Meltzer echoed that sentiment but cautioned that WWE has used similar angles before to make fans believe a wrestler was leaving, only to bring them back weeks or months later.

No evidence Bayley has left WWE

Although rumors surrounding the Role Model’s contract have circulated for months, none have been confirmed by WWE.

The former Women’s Champion reportedly signed a new deal in 2023, but the contract length has never been disclosed publicly. A report from WOR has revealed that her contract is coming up in a couple of months.

More importantly, there is no credible evidence that Bayley has been released, departed the company, or been moved to WWE’s Alumni section.

The viral screenshot making those claims is not authentic and should not be treated as proof of her WWE status.

Until WWE or Bayley issues an official statement, reports claiming she has left the company remain unfounded.
