Fans speculate Saraya aka Paige's return at WWE Royal Rumble 2026 after Nashville ComiCon gets postponed

The former Divas Champion has been absent from WWE programming since 2022.
The return of former WWE Divas Champion, Paige aka Saraya, has been a hot topic of debate among fans ever since she left AEW. While Paige has mostly been absent from the spotlight except few appearances, fans have been predicting her return at every major PLE.
Since leaving AEW, Saraya has not set foot inside the ring. Her last in-ring appearance came on the October 10, 2024, episode of AEW Dynamite, where she competed in a four-way match to determine the No. 1 contender for the AEW Women’s World Championship.
Saraya made a surprise indie appearance using WWE’s entrance theme
Paige recently made an unexpected appearance at Insane Wrestling Revolution’s Season’s Beatings Fest on December 27, 2025, in Monroe, Michigan. The former two-time Divas Champion made her entrance to her classic WWE theme, “Stars in the Night,” the CFO$ track.
The appearance marked her first time competing on the independent scene since becoming a free agent. The appearance only further made fans believe that she is eventually going to return to WWE.

The recent speculation stems from a post on X in which a user pointed out that Nashville ComiCon, originally scheduled for January 31–February 1, was postponed to February 7–8. Saraya was among the stars advertised for the show.
Although the postponement was announced back in November and Paige, along with several other stars, are currently advertised for the event, which means this likely has nothing do with the WWE return, but fans are still holding out hope for her return, eagerly latching onto any hint or theory, as they should.
Notably, Paige recently shared a video of herself training in the ring alongside independent wrestler La Chola’ Vipress, appearing to shake off any ring rust.
Saraya has been absent from WWE TV since 2022, and her last in-ring WWE appearance was in 2017 at a House Show. She then officially retired from in-ring competition in April 2018 due to a neck injury. However, she remained involved in WWE in non-wrestling roles, including as a manager and on-screen authority figure.
Following her AEW debut, she wrestled her first match at AEW Full Gear PPV in 2022, defeating Dr. Britt Baker DMD in singles action.
Is Paige returning at WWE Royal Rumble 2026?
No, as of now, there is no confirmation or report of her return, and it’s mostly speculation from fans.
When and where will the Royal Rumble PLE take place?
The 39th edition will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of Riyadh Season.
