These feuds look promising for the WWE going into the future

Apart from serving as an endpoint for many rivalries, the Bad Blood PLE also teased some new feuds that may be on offer from WWE.

From a legend coming up against a current champion to a Hollywood star potentially locking horns with his cousin, the special event had it all. Join us now as we look at the top five feuds WWE teased at WWE Bad Blood 2024.

5. Nia Jax vs Tiffany Stratton

Nia Jax may have retained her WWE Women’s championship at the Bad Blood PLE, but it seems like she might be entering into a rivalry with Tiffany Stratton. The former NXT women’s champion has for long teased cashing in her Ms. Money in the Bank contract on the champion.

She again attempted to do so at the All-State Arena but had cold feet when Jax sat up. Stratton might have befriended the Anoa’i family member, but her endgame will certainly be knocking the champion off her perch. It’s high time that Jax realizes Tiffy’s hidden intentions, and if she does so, WWE might have a readymade feud on their hands.

4. Rhea Ripley vs Raquel Rodriguez

After being sidelined for months by Rhea Ripley, Raquel Rodriguez marked her shocking return to WWE at the Bad Blood PLE. To make matters worse, her interference cost the Australian another opportunity to get the better of Liv Morgan.

The women’s heavyweight champion will shift her focus towards the WWE women’s champion, Nia Jax, for the right to be called the first-ever Crown Jewel Champion. That leaves Ripley to settle her beef against Rodriguez. Given the history between these two towering performers, their potential feud promises to be an absolute slobber knocker.

3. Gunther vs Goldberg

The immediate assignment for Gunther is facing the undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes at next month’s Crown Jewel PLE in Saudi Arabia. But his blatant mocking of a legend in Goldberg at the Bad Blood PLE has certainly planted a seed for a future rivalry.

The former WCW World champion has often expressed the desire to have a retirement match in the Stamford-based promotion. Looks like the Triple H regime is finally ready to grant the legend’s wish. What’s better, the wrestling juggernaut seems to be pitting its best against the certified legend.

After the events in Atlanta, this feud seems imminent, and it won’t be a surprise if Goldberg ends up costing Gunther his match against Rhodes in Saudi Arabia to set up this unexpected rivalry.

2. The Rock vs Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes is a busy man right now as between him overcoming the new version of The Bloodline and being beaten to a pulp in the parking lot by Kevin Owens, he also encountered The Rock. Given the unusual signs made by ‘The Great One’, it’s all but certain that he’d be going after Rhodes’ WWE title.

Just when exactly is the question that would need answering? Well, it could be at the 2025 Royal Rumble PLE or either of the nights of WrestleMania XLI. The American Nightmare can rest assured that the wrestler-turned-actor would clash with him very, very soon.

1. The Rock vs Roman Reigns

The Rock’s surprise return does not only affect Cody Rhodes, but it can have long-term ramifications for Roman Reigns as well. Don’t forget when the Black Adam actor last competed in WWE, Reigns and Rhodes were on the opposing teams.

It’s almost a given that The Brahma Bull would not be fond of this unexpected alliance. What it means? The Original Tribal Chief could bear the wrath of The Rock for going against the ethos of the Anoa’i family.

Moreover, the Stamford-based promotion would finally have the opportunity to pit both cousins against each other on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Where exactly Rhodes fits into all this is a question that only Triple H could answer. Perhaps a high-octane triple-threat match could be on offer, who knows?

The professional wrestling business is a continuous process as apart from providing payoffs for current storylines; the booker has to keep the prospective future storylines in the back of their mind. Triple H has mastered this art, let’s see if he again manages to deliver with all these potential rivalries that were teased at the Bad Blood PLE.
