Finn Balor and Sami Zayn will battle in a high-stakes match.
WWE SummerSlam 2026 had a major and high-stakes bout added to its card following the events of the July 24 episode of SmackDown. Sami Zayn continued to demand a rematch for the Undisputed WWE Title after he lost the gold just nine days after winning it.
WWE RAW GM Adam Pearce put him in a No.1 contender’s match at SummerSlam, and his opponent will be Finn Balor, who earned the spot by beating three other superstars in a Fatal 4-Way match later that night. With the stage set, here are five possible finishes for the match.

Sami Zayn and Finn Balor realize that they are set for a huge opportunity at a marquee stage like SummerSlam.
The pressure of a big match and the desperation to win at all costs can lead to an indecisive finish and end the bout in a No-contest, thereby preventing a No.1 contender from being crowned.
