The 2024 Clash at the Castle could be filled with surprises.
WWE Clash at Castle 2024 is one of the most anticipated upcoming premium live events, which is scheduled to be held on June 15, 2024 from the OVO Hydro, Glasgow, Scotland. This is the first PLE to be held in Scotland and the company has been planning to make it one of the historical events on Scottish soil.
A total of five WrestleMania worthy matches were booked, and a lot of Scottish wrestlers got featured for the show. Apart from this, here are some of the top potential surprises that the company could have in their store for the upcoming PLE Clash at the Castle 2024.
5. Joe Hendry appears
WWE has been in collaboration with TNA and there has been tease of seeing a number of TNA stars potentially stepping into WWE. With that being in talks Joe Hendry could potentially appear at Clash at the Castle. The 36 year old Scottish TNA star and musician has been the hottest sensation with his new song, “I believe in Joe Hendry”.
Hendry in a recent interview with WhatCulture Wrestling spoke about whether he would be at Clash at the Castle 2024 saying that “anything could happen” giving hopes. On the recent edition of Raw, his reference was used by Raw Color Commentator Pat McAfee, who said, “Say his name & he appears”. All these things seem like we could see Joe Hendry when his name is spelled.
4. Gallus in town
Gallus is one of NXT’s trio factions consisting of Scottish Wrestlers, Woldgang, Joe Coffey and Mark Coffey. The dominating faction of NXT could show up at Clash at the Castle for any impromptu match, since most of the Scottish stars are featured for the PLE. Gallus showing up at Scotland could be a great moment that WWE surprisingly have kept in the store.
3. Nikki Cross with Wyatt 6
Nikki Cross has been on hiatus for a very long time. The former Women’s Champion could probably show up in her home country at Clash at the Castle. Cross is rumored to be a part of Uncle Howdy’s new faction. She could potentially return to Television at the PLE along with Wyatt 6 faction members to set the stage for Uncle Howdy. There is not better way to start big for Cross, Howdy and other faction members to make their return than Clash at the Castle.
2. Creed Brothers aligning with Chad Gable
Chad Gable will be facing Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship at Clash at the Castle. Gable asked Alpha Academy members to help him win the title, and eventually spotted in discussions with The Creed Brothers & Ivy Nile backstage. Since Academy members seem to be hesitating to attack Sami, Creed Brothers could align with Chad Gable and help him win the Intercontinental Championship.
1. CM Punk returns
CM Punk has been out of action for a long time due to a tricep tear, however never failed to cook a feud with Drew McIntyre. Punk previously during a promo on Monday Night Raw teased that he could be coming for Drew to Scotland “hiding in a Bowl of Haggis”. Punk could potentially show up at the event and could announce that he is cleared to compete or could cause Drew McIntyre his championship.
