These WWE Legends can make a remarkable comeback to the global juggernaut.
WWE has become the global giant of wrestling in over four decades, with the contributions of some of the biggest and larger-than-life personalities who have stepped inside the squared circle. Over the years, the company has seen these legends return in various capacities.
With the global juggernaut thriving under the Paul “Triple H” Levesque era today, here are the top five WWE icons who should make a return as part of one of the most successful regimes of WWE:
5. Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar is one of the most prominent WWE figures of all time and, possibly the most dangerous athlete to step inside the squared circle. However, The Beast Incarnate has not been seen on WWE television since SummerSlam 2023 after his name came up in the Vince McMahon-Janel Grant lawsuit. However, with Lesnar’s name mentioned multiple times on live television since then, this could potentially mean that The Beast is well on his way back to WWE.
4. Sting
Sting is one of the most iconic legends in professional wrestling. However, his short stint in WWE that began in 2014 did not go as The Icon had perceived, sending him into his first retirement. But Sting bounced back and had three successful years as an in-ring competitor in AEW before taking the final bow at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view 2024. Now, as a free agent, WWE could bring Sting back to the company in some capacity to give him a much more successful run than before.
3. Kane
The Big Red Monster, Kane, nowadays spends his time at the forefront of the political world as the Mayor of Knoxville after the culmination of his successful WWE career and eventual Hall of Fame induction in 2021. However, it has been a few years since Kane was seen on WWE television programming. With Triple H at the helm of the corporate structure, Kane could experience a new run with a short comeback to WWE and give the fans of The Big Red Machine once again.
2. Ric Flair
Ric Flair has been a part of WWE since his retirement in 2008 in various capacities, from sporadic appearances to support his daughter, Charlotte Flair, thriving as a megastar. Moreover, he then switched to AEW and stayed there for a while before recently being announced as no longer part of Tony Khan’s company. This could lead to the 16-time World Champion returning to WWE again under the leadership of his protege and good friend, Triple H.
1. The Undertaker
The WWE Universe was enthralled by the sight of the gong going off and seeing The Undertaker appear amidst the main event of WrestleMania 40 to take out The Rock, proving his relevance and iconic stature. Witnessing the star power and fame of The Deadman, Triple H could pull some strings and bring back Undertaker to WWE. After all, Taker concluded his Hall of Fame speech with the famous words “Never say Never” so the fans could see Undertaker get back in the ring one last time.
