WWE has been keen on hiring and firing of talents and has made a lot of changes inside the company. In 2023, we witnessed a number of wrestlers being released as free agents and signed some of the hottest free agents from the rival promotions.

WWE weeks ago released multiple talents from their contract. As the shockwave for the release didn’t settle, the company also has released a number of superstars from their contract earlier today. Here is the list of all the WWE Superstars released from their contract today.

WWE Superstars released

  • Drew Gulak
  • Darrell Mason
  • Vlad Pavlenko
  • Ezekiel Balogun
  • Kiyah Saint
  • Emma Diaz
  • Valentina Feroz
  • Keyshawn Leflore
  • Trey Bearhill
  • Julian Baldi
  • Gable Steveson

It was reported that Drew Gulak has been released weeks ago after he was accused by Ronda Rousey for touching the string of her sweat suit. He was not seen on NXT tapings then & his release was explained in a creative angle, where No Quarter Catch Crew paid The D’Angelo Family to take him out of action.

Feroz is reported to have the most matches in the NXT brand. Bearhill was used in the Lexis King story angle for a brief time. PWInsider reported that Lefore & Diaz were shown on WWE Roku Channel series WWE: Next Gen, however they were not utilized much after that.

Hours after the first list of released superstars were revealed, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that the Olympic Gold Medalist, Gable Steveson was released from his contract. He just began his career in NXT by late 2023 at the NXT Great American Bash against Baron Corbin. The match was highly criticized for the poor finish. He then worked on a number of NXT House shows & in SmackDown dark matches in 2024.

WWE has previously released WWE Superstars including Jinder Mahal, Sanga, Veer Mahaan, Xia Li, Cameron Grimes, Xion Quinn & Von Wagner from their contract. Not only the talents, but also WWE Chief Operations Officer Brad Blum has also resigned earlier this week. It is unknown what is the real reason behind the release. However they are currently under a 90 days non-compete period and would be free agents after that.
